I will advocate for strong, vibrant public schools that prepare students to become informed citizens capable of engaging in meaningful civic life.  Leadership development cannot be an extra for a strong school system; instead, it must be a foundational component.  Intentionally cultivating leadership capacity in students and staff leads to better results for students and the communities they serve.
